USA Ambassador Bob Godec enthusiastically tweets during his visit to Watamu Marine Park on the North Coast of Kenya, "This place is a miracle! I want everyone to know about it!"
"This place (Watamu) is a miracle...Touching the warm, beautiful waters of Watamu Marine Park" The words of USA Ambassador Bob Godec. Kenya Wildlife Service accompanied by Watamu Marine Association who welcomed Ambassador Bob, aka Balozi Ndovu (Swahili for Ambassador for Elephants) to the Watamu Marine Park in a promotion of Kenya's coast and a show solidarity for Kenya and USA tourism in our country.
Balozi Ndovu was accompanied by his team from the US Embassy in Nairobi as he joined the Kenyan Wildlife HQ at Watamu headed by the Warden Erick Aduda. Steve Trott Projects' Development Officer from Watamu Marine Association joined the entourage,just before a rescued sea turtle was released in to the Indian Ocean by Local Ocean Trust.
The USA team joined the KWS boat with WMA in the Watamu Marine Park and Mida Creek, which prompted a number enthusiastic tweets from Ambassador Bob and the embassy.

The Ambassador's visit coincided with a launch by Make It Kenya and Magical Kenya attended by Chair Justin Kitsao who met with Hon Najib Balala, the cabinet secretary of tourism this morning during the #TembeaKenya SMS Launch Campaign, promoting Kenyan tourism nationally.
